Eyetools Research Blog
Here is quite an interesting blog maintained by Eyetools’ CTO Greg Edwards http://blog.eyetools.net/ Eyetools is a company that performs eye tracking studies on client websites. On the blog he publishes interesting examples of how users scan pages and which areas of the pages are viewed more than others. The results are presented in a Predator-like heat intensity diagram where the most viewed areas are red ('warm') and the least viewed areas are black ('cold').
I makes for some interesting analysis and definitely will change the way you think about page layout.
